Like Nath, his discipleship is also great/majestic. Though Parmarthika (transcendental) authority is high, even the practical wealth/richness is the feature of Nath tradition.

Eknathi Bhagwat

Eknathi Bhagwat is a book written by Sant Eknath of the Marathi faith. This is major work of Varkari Sampradaya. Nath Maharaj had begun writing the Eknathi Bhagwat in Paithan finishing it in Varanasi. The text contains a total of 18,798 owee (poetic metre).

The Samadhi Temple

This is the Jalsamadhi (watertomb) place of Eknath Maharaj. Nath merged his soul in Brahmanda at Krishnakamalateerth. His body was cremated at this place. The next day Tulsi and pimple seedlings sprouted. At that place, Padukas were established by Nath’s son Haripant. The wooden core temple that we see today is built by the 11th descendant of Eknath Shri Bhanudas Maharaj Gosawi, Jahagirdar and the main fortification is built by Ahilyabai Holkar.
